Week 171 - Salt's Sweet Music with Nicholas Martin

On this weeks show we feature star organist Nicholas Martin with a programme of music played on the wonderful Wurlitzer in the Victoria Hall, Saltaire. The show includes, marches, ballads, music for dancing and a section of hits form the 1960's.

Week 168 - Simply Sounds Like Simon

On this weeks show we visit the Leisure Centre in Woking for a console work out by International star Simon Gledhill. The sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer work well in the hall and what you hear on the show is taken from a live performance last year.  Apart from the wonderful music Simon also talks to Len Rawle who with his team look after the Wurlitzer.

Week 164 - A Paramount Performance by Iain McGlinchey

This weeks show we feature the sounds of the the Virtual Theatre Pipe Organ. And who better to demonstrate the sounds of the various samples than Iain McGlinchey who helped found Paramount Organ Works. Iain's dedication to sampling organs is second to none and on top of that this half hour also proves his talent  as a fine organist.

Week 159 - Mark the Red Nosed Organist

This week's show comes to you from St Albans Organ Museum, as Mark Laflin presents and plays programme of seasonal music on both the Wurlitzer and the unique Rutt. Marks programme is sure to please all with lively tune such as Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride and slower ballads such as It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.

Week 157 - A Burton for Nick

On this week's show Nicholas Martin takes us dancing on the 3 manual 8 rank Wurlitzer which is installed in the Town Hall at Burton-On-Trent. This fine sounding Wurlitzer was put through its paces by Nick who is no stranger to playing for dancing. So take your partners for the Ballroom Waltz, Saunter Together, Ballroom Rhumba and many more!

Week 155 - Portslade: The Final Curtain

On this weeks show we say farewell to the mighty Portslade Compton/Christie. John Mann has the honours of playing the last concert on the organ in its current home and although it was sad that the organ would not sing out again in the hall, a new home has been found up the road at Ditchling on a farm no less! David Houlgate and his team deserve a massive hand for installing and maintaining this organ which has been playing in the hall for the last 28 years!

Week 143 - Paul Kirner and his Mighty Chrsitie

On this weeks show we features the latest theatre organ instillation in the UK - The mighty Christie organ in Paul Kirners Music Palace, Ynyshir, Rhondaa. This famous Christie organ was originally installed in the Regal Edmonton and was really made famous by Sidney Torch. This show features tracks with Paul kindly recorded especially for the show and is not what was heard on the opening concerts.

Week 140 - A Cotton Celebration with David Ivory

On this weeks show we venture to Suffolk and to the Cotton Mechanical Musical Museum. This 90 year old  2 manual Wurlitzer was originally installed in the Leicester Square Theatre, London So in celebration of this fact, we present to you Cotton's resident organist David Ivory. Davids going to plays a 'traditional' programme which includes a selection of Gilbert & Sullivan tunes, the waltz- Village Children and many more!

Week 137 - Peter Plays Pipes

On this weeks show you ca enjoy edited Highlights from Peter Jebsons recent concert at the Victoria Hall Saltaire. It was Peters first time playing the organ in its current home, however he has fond memories of playing it when it was installed in the Trinity Arts Centre, Pudsey. Some of the highlights from the concert incude the New Recruit March, CS Lang's Tuba Tune, a typical memories of song selection and many more!
