On this weeks show we say farewell to the mighty Portslade Compton/Christie. John Mann has the honours of playing the last concert on the organ in its current home and although it was sad that the organ would not sing out again in the hall, a new home has been found up the road at Ditchling on a farm no less! David Houlgate and his team deserve a massive hand for installing and maintaining this organ which has been playing in the hall for the last 28 years!

On this weeks show we features the latest theatre organ instillation in the UK - The mighty Christie organ in Paul Kirners Music Palace, Ynyshir, Rhondaa. This famous Christie organ was originally installed in the Regal Edmonton and was really made famous by Sidney Torch. This show features tracks with Paul kindly recorded especially for the show and is not what was heard on the opening concerts.

This 90 year old 2 manual Wurlitzer was originally installed in the Leicester Square Theatre, London So in celebration of this fact, we present to you Cotton's resident organist David Ivory. Davids going to plays a 'traditional' programme which includes a selection of Gilbert & Sullivan tunes, the waltz- Village Children and many more!

It was Peters first time playing the organ in its current home, however he has fond memories of playing it when it was installed in the Trinity Arts Centre, Pudsey. The original 1936 installation is one of the most unique sounding organs in the country and was really made popular by Douglas Reeve. On the show we feature highlights from John Manns recent spring concert there and tracks from Douglas Reeve and Michael Maine.
